Founders tips - Issue #87

A long weekend across europe, so no excuses, enough time to rest, enjoy friends and family but also to read ( a LOT ;).
First item on the list, Bezos’ shareowners (I love the term and will unashamedly steal it) letter here. In founder’s read an article from the FT highlighting one key point : Failure. My recommendation read the entire letter.
Of course all the rest is worth the read: try Should Your Startup Employ Both Assisted and Unassisted Trials to Acquire Customers? in Sales/Marketing and How to Get the Most Out of VC Outreach in VC.
Last but not least, Sam Altman’s tweets on Growth ROI, a point for those who know me I am stressing on a lot.
Enjoy your weekend, enjoy the read.

Tweet of the week

Generally the highest ROI comes from getting even better in areas where you're already strong, not improving in areas where you're weak.

There are important exceptions, but most people focus on their weaknesses too much.
